#dcacorps: Tony Wolcott – Alliance 2015

Tony Wolcott, an alumni of Alliance Drum & Bugle Corps, recently shared his DCA experience, and allowed us to share. He marched with Alliance Drum and Bugle Corps from Atlanta, GA in 2015 in the horn line on baritone. “My first experience with the corps was seeing them perform at DCI Atlanta in 2009. In 2014, I finally got the courage to audition for a corps.”

I went to Spirit of Atlanta and received a call back, however, I went to an Alliance Drum & Bugle Corps camp. From there, I never looked back. I knew that this was where I was meant to be! I auditioned and got the lead baritone spot. And in a weird turn of events, section leader, as there were no baritone vets that year.

One of his favorite memories of the summer was performing in Georgia Dome! “For me, there was no bigger stage until DCA Championships in Rochester.” While we barely missed out on the Class-A championship that year, I look back on it and loved every single moment!
