Opening Day of the 2022 Season!

Opening day of the 2022 drum corps season was a success welcoming crowds, and corps in the first live DCA competition since 2019! The sounds of booming drums, soothing horns, and colorful flags fill the stadium as eager fans, friends, and family shared the excitement of the return of DCA.

As part of the long-running Barnum Festival, Bridgeport, CT was the site of this glorious return. Featuring exhibition performances by Magnificent Brass, and the Connecticut Hurricanes, crowds were treated to the exciting field productions by three of our local corps.

The Bushwackers premiered their 2022 production titled Canyon, while the reigning DCA Championships Open Champions Hawthorne Caballeros presented their show Timeless. The home corps, Connecticut Hurricanes, took us on a journey literally with their 2022 production titled “Journey Home”.
